At Ginger’s Uptown, our customers are the reason we’ve been in business over 35 years!  We always want you to feel comfortable shopping with us and we want your experience to be a happy one!  If at any time you need our assistance you can always call the store or email our customer service department.  We are here to help you with your shopping questions!

Shipping Information:

We only offer Standard Shipping (4-7 Business Days) based on weight, that is calculated at checkout. Heavier, oversized, and bulky items may require additional shipping charges. You will be notified if your order requires additional shipping charges. We ship Exclusively by UPS and USPS.

Orders with Standard Shipping typically take between 24 and 48 hours to be processed and shipped.  Weekends and holidays are excluded from processing and shipping times, so please keep that in mind when choosing your shipping method. You will receive an e-mail with your tracking information when your order has been shipped.
 
Credit card authorization and address verification must be received prior to shipping any order.  Please note that credit card authorization can take up to 24 hours for approval.  We use UPS as our preferred shipping carrier and therefore no P.O. Boxes can be used.  Some orders may be shipped using USPS, depending on your delivery address.  Please remember your shipping time does not include Saturdays, Sundays or Holidays.  You will be notified by email regarding back ordered items and expected delays.  Ginger’s Uptown will contact you with a follow up email if the merchandise you have selected is not currently in stock or if we need additional identification provided for credit verification.

You may NOT return:
  • Sale/Clearance Items. Anything purchased on Sale or Clearance is FINAL and not available for returns.
  • Cosmetics, Bath & Body, Fragrances, Soaps, Lingerie, Sunglasses, Gourmet Food, and Gift Certificates are all NON RETURNABLE and all sales are FINAL.  
  • Items with makeup or deodorant stains are not allowed for return.
To make your return:
  • You are responsible for the shipping and handling of the returned item.  Original and return shipping fees are non-refundable. In order to make a return, please refer to our Return Policy above to ensure that your return meets the criteria stated.
  • Next, notify us and then send your package back to us via the most economical shipping method of your choice.  Please note your tracking number from your label.
  • Once your package is received, please allow up to 10 business days for return processing.  When your return is processed you will be emailed a notification once your return is received.

Refund Information: 
  • Unworn/unaltered merchandise may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of the day you receive your package. In order to make a return, please refer to our Return Policy above to ensure that your return meets the criteria stated.
  • Merchandise must not have any makeup or deodorant stains or it will be refused for credit. All hangtags that were in place at shipment must be intact.
  • Refunds will be credited and processed on the same credit card account used for your original transaction. Please allow up to 10 days from the date we receive your return for your account to be credited. 

IF THE ORDER IS RETURNED PAST THE 14 DAY GUIDELINES, the items will be sent back to you and a standard shipping charge will be applied to your card. 
 
Exchange Policy:
Although we would love to help you with easy exchanges, we will not be able to handle exchanges due to the frequent change and turnover in our inventory.  We suggest placing a new order for any items you want and sending back any return items to be processed for credit. 

In-Store Return Policy: 

Ginger’s Uptown accepts exchanges on full priced items up to 30 days after the purchase date. You may pick a suitable replacement item or receive store credit via a gift card. No money back. Items must be unworn and undamaged with the tags attached. We do not accept returns or exchanges on Final Sale Items. By paying your invoice you are agreeing to these terms and conditions. Thank you for shopping local with us!

Trouble With Your Order:

  • Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt.  If you believe you have DEFECTIVE merchandise you must contact our customer service department within 3 days of receipt.  NO EXCEPTIONS.

Sales Tax:
All orders will be subject to the sales tax of the location where the item is being shipped if you are located within the State of Kansas. Orders outside the State of Kansas require no sales tax.
