Cajun Shrimp and Grits Mix
Stone ground grits topped with a spicy cajun butter that will make you want a second helping. You cook the grits, Melt butter add our season packet saute shrimp and your ready to eat. Serves 8-10. This is one of our top sellers.
Directions: Mix season packet with three sticks of butter and 1/4 cup water. Simmer for 5 minutes on low heat stirring frequently. In separate stock pot bring 4 cups milk to a boil. Add grits packet and cook until completely done. Add 2 cups heavy whipping cream to the grits and stir. Salt and Pepper to taste. While grits are cooking, saute 2 lbs of medium peeled and deveined shrimp in butter and spices. Ladle shrimp and butter over creamy grits. Serves 8-10 people.
